Persse Lake

Persse Lake will be fully developed during 2010. Currently it has a road, parking lot, launch area and hydro right of way. An aerator building is on site and equipment ready for installation after ice out 2010. It will be stocked with rainbow and/or brown trout in 2010. It will have special trophy regulations, 1 fish allowed under 18 inches(45cm). All fish over 18 inches (45cm) must be released to maintain a stock of huge trout indefinitely.

Remember to pack your camera!

This lake has some widely varying, exciting structure and a massive forage base that will make it a key lake in the FLIPPR planning for years to come.

Driving Directions:

From Hwy5 and Hwy 83 Junction, straight north of Coop Gas station in Roblin, MB, drive north for 42 Km to where Hwy 83 swings west for the second time. There is the FLIPPR sign for Twin Lake and also the Tees Lake Road sign. Drive down the gravel road for 427 meters to the 1st junction. If you went straight north you would come to Twin Lake. You will instead turn east at the gravel road junction and go for 1.8 km where you pass between Persse and Tees Lakes. The road to the launch site and parking for Persse is to your left, up a small hill. Follow it due north, about .6 km. You will go around a swamp before coming to the parking lot/launch site. Be sure to use only the main launch site for this lake because most of the surrounding land, docks and entry points are on private land.
