Shilliday Lake in Duck Mountain Provincial Park is an excellent windy day lake. It is prone to winter-kill during ultra-cold winters with heavy snow fall so check updates prior to heading out. Some truly great fishing days can spin from this lake. During the backswimmer falls of autumn it is a fly anglers' paradise! Besides trout yellow perch are present as they are in most Duck Mountain Lakes.

There is no boat launch for trailered boats and everything must be transported up and down a hill for about 100 meters from the parking lot.
