West Goose Lake

The Access is at the west end of the lake near the new subdivision

From Highway 83, head west on Goose Lake Drive until you hit Hospital Street. Turn left (south) and drive around cement plant until you come to parking lot and launch. The launch is designed for lighter boats. You may have fun getting a 20 foot deep V into the water but it has been done on occasion. Best shore fishing spots are marked on the map with an icon and those on west and south are accessible by the Crocus trail which is part of the TransCanada Trail. Washrooms and camping are right across Highway 83 at the E. Goose Campground.

The lake produces large rainbows and browns as well as jumbo yellow perch. Check on-line for current conditions since water clarity and lake/fishing conditions are variable for this water body.
